How To
To Join the IRC main channels you must have a registered nickname. If you are seeking help simply type /j #tb-help once the applet is done loading.
Steps to register nickname:
- Choose your site name (if not a site member, don't bother registering your nick just yet, as all the channels you would need to access are open).
- Once you've chosen your nick, change to it (Logged in site users already have their nicks set for them). Type "/nick " (No quotes).
- Type "/ns register "
- Every time you join IRC after registering you will need to "identify" yourself as being the owner of the nickname by using the command "/ns identify " (No quotes), being the password chosen while registering through IRC.
- The bot will then auto-join you into the main chan, you can do the command /list to show all channels that are available to you (Double click or type "/j #chan" to join).
